Those Who Cage Shadows

Those Who Cage Shadows is a collection of random tables to quickly generate a clandestine organization that deals with paranormal anomalies, like the fabled Men in Black or other secretive groups.

All tables use only a d6, a d20, or both and the results are unrelated to any statistics or gameplay mechanics so they should work with any game systems. It is designed to accompany the tables in Small Towns With Paranormal Problems and Big Cities With Bad Vibes.

Tables include inspirations for:

• The description of an agent of the organization or the head scientist there.
• The description of the organizations supposed origin and purpose.
• The description of a building owned by the facility, including the kind of paranormal anomaly contained within and the security measures used to contain it.
• A strange paranormal sighting that occurred in the backstory of a character.
