Cruciatus Animi Fracti simulates what happens in the mind of a person who has been overwhelmed by cosmic horrors and gone into a psychedelic fugue state. As this character suffers the effects of vast unknowable terrors, their mind offers up uncanny scenarios that the player can use to flesh out their life history and detail their struggle to maintain their grip on their self.
